Hi everyone!
Welcome back to my 4 days of free kits here on my blog! As you can tell (and probably could predict) I have a 4th of July Kit for you! I know a ton of people have done this both online and on etsy, but I wanted to share my sparkly, glittery take on the popular theme!
Something else I’m really excited to share with you is that this is my first kit that I’ve reformatted for the Erin Condren Horizontal planner! But don’t worry Big Happy Planner users! Starting July 15 I will be making kits for the bigger Happy Planner!
I did also reformat some of the pages to make them more useful and functional and added a couple brand new stickers to the kit.
If you have any suggestions or concerns, please let me know! The only way I know to change things is if you let me know! I know that it’s more than the average kit off of etsy, but I wanted to include enough for different styles of planning!
Later today I’ll be posting blank multicolor labels, and tomorrow I’ll have my last kit for the weekend along with an exciting new Tag I’ve written!
Here is my mock digital spread in my DIY Erin Condren Vertical inserts. Looking at the kit, you could also use this to cheer on Team USA in the Olympics or any upcoming sporting events if you just replace the quote box with the 8th full box. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I think that there’s a good mix of glitter and solid colors! All the images are from this kit, so you can easily recreate this look!
How to use printables:
Ranked in order of Difficulty (1-easy, 4-hard)
- Silhouette: This is by far the easiest way and that would be to print out the stickers on a sheet of sticker paper sticker paper sticker paper and then run it through a cutting machine like the Silhouette Cameo. I have preset the cut lines in the studio3 file, but I would recommend double checking to make sure the stickers are going to be cut the way you want them to.
- Box Cutter/ X-acto Knife: Print out the stickers on sticker sheets. Using a sharp cutter and a ruler, gently press against the paper to create a cut through only the top layer of the sticker sheet. Peel back to use. Get a parent’s help if you are young as this can be very dangerous!
- Scissors: Print stickers on sticker sheet and cut out the various shapes with a pair of scissors. Peel the backing off to use.
- Stickerless decorating: This is by far the most tedious, but it definitely works. It doesn’t look as nice or glossy as stickers do but its a way to decorate a planner without purchasing sticker paper. Check out my blog post on how to do it!
Below each image you will find 2 files: a studio3 (Silhouette) and a pdf. In the studio3 file, I have already set the cut lines for you, but you should definitely check before you print to make sure that everything is the way you want it. I tried to preset the cutlines and registration marks for all of them, but just in case I missed one, you’ll want to check and make sure before you print. I usually expand the box to its largest possible size and set the mark length to be somewhere in the middle. Just an FYI, I don’t do offsets on my stickers (except for some decorative stickers), meaning that the Silhouette cuts out the outline of the shape. The reason for this is that I also have pdfs for people who don’t own Silhouettes who are cutting them by hand. If I do offsets, the boxes will be too big.
IMPORTANT When printing from a pdf, make sure that you have it set to a zoom of 100%, and ensure that you have selected PRINT ACTUAL SIZE instead of the default shrink oversized pages option. If you don’t do this, your stickers may be slightly smaller than I’ve sized them to be.
Some pages will work for both Erin Condrens and the Happy Planner. I will let you know below which ones those are.

As you can see, this page has changed. I still kept the same number of headers, but I replaced some of the labels with mini icons and date covers. I’ve never used date covers before, but I’ve fallen in love with how they look, especially with the glitter!
*Note: This page is labeled for all, but I don’t think the date covers will work in the horizontal. The problem is that some days of the week are longer than other (ex) Monday shorter than Wednesday), and some numbers take up more room on the planner than others, so I just thought that I would include the vertical sized date covers and you can use them if you’d like.

A TON of little things! Do you think I should get rid of some of these to make room for something else? Let me know what you think I should do.

Washi sheet! Because the horizontal doesn’t really have a “bottom washi” area, I added little strips that you can use to cover the solid lines above each date. I did have to guestimate on the size becaue I don’t own an Erin Condren horizontal, and the measurements online didn’t measure that line. If you have a horizontal and would like to share measurements, email me at plannerproblem@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram (@plannerproblem).
I also added some flagged labels which seem to be popular in the horizontal. The numbers above are to place over the date covers.

I did in fact fix the Erin Condren bottom washi for this kit, so no need to trim them down! In the EC file, you’ll get one less set of bottom washi, one less box of cut washi, and one less weekend banner to make everything fit! Also for some reason the number cut lines haven’t been saving for me, so you may need to cut them out by hand.

Standard page of checklists, reminder boxes, and teardrops! For the horizontal, I had extra room so instead of more 3 heart checkboxes, I added little divider boxes. You can use these to separate sections in your horizontal planner.
