Doodle Faces #1! | Free Printable Planner Stickers

Hello everyone!

I’d like to start off this post with a couple of updates regarding my blog.

Recently, I’ve been finding that I haven’t been able to continually post daily or even semi-daily. Some weeks I get really good at it, and other weeks I fall behind. For that reason, I am constructing a new post schedule and will be changing some of the features on my blog.

On Mondays, I will be posting a functional sticker sheet.

On Tuesdays OR Wednesdays, I will be posting a decorative sticker sheet.

On the weekends, I will be posting my weekly kits.

In addition, I have to suspend custom orders for now :(. I’ve had too much to juggle, and have noticed that I haven’t been able to get to those in a timely manner.

These changes, however, are not permanent. I will be trying to go back to daily posts with custom orders in mid-January! I hope this makes sense to you, and hopefully it will put me back into a steady routine. These changes will take effect this Monday.

While I was on my Thanksgiving blog break, I decided I would toy around with drawing my own clipart! I started off simple with some cute little doodles, and here they are! I am going to start a series with these where every other week, I will post a new set of doodle stickers. I have divided them up into individual sheets so you can cut them up and store them better among the rest of your stickers.

One last note- I am still on the hunt for the perfect name for these cute little doodles! Let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks.

About Printables:

How to print & cut printables:

Click here to see the sticker paper that I use. This was recommended on Facebook, and I would highly suggest you check this out! It’s a great price for a large quantity of sticker paper!

Ranked in order of Difficulty (1-easy, 4-hard)

  1. Silhouette: This is by far the easiest way and that would be to print out the stickers on a sheet of sticker paper, and then run it through a cutting machine like the Silhouette Cameo. I have preset the cut lines in the studio3 file, but I would recommend double checking to make sure the stickers are going to be cut the way you want them to.
  2. Box Cutter/ X-acto Knife: Print out the stickers on sticker sheets. Using a sharp cutter and a ruler, gently press against the paper to create a cut through only the top layer of the sticker sheet. Peel back to use. Get a parent’s help if you are young as this can be very dangerous!
  3. Scissors: Print stickers on sticker sheet and cut out the various shapes with a pair of scissors. Peel the backing off to use.
  4. Stickerless decorating: This is by far the most tedious, but it definitely works. It doesn’t look as nice or glossy as stickers do but its a way to decorate a planner without purchasing sticker paper. Check out my blog post on how to do it!

For each printable page will find at least 2 files:  a studio3 (Silhouette) and a pdf. In the studio3 file, I have already set the cut lines for you, but you should definitely check before you print to make sure that everything is the way you want it. I tried to preset the cutlines and registration marks for all of them, but just in case I missed one, you’ll want to set to default marks.  Make sure that you have “cut edge” selected and that you have chosen the correct material. Sometimes I’ll forget to do this step when formatting page!  Just an FYI, I don’t do offsets on my stickers (except for some decorative stickers), meaning that the Silhouette cuts out the outline of the shape. The reason for this is that I also have pdfs for people who don’t own Silhouettes who are cutting them by hand. If I do offsets, the boxes will be too big.

IMPORTANT When printing from a pdf, make sure that you have it set to a zoom of 100%, and ensure that you have selected PRINT ACTUAL SIZE instead of the default “shrink oversized pages” option. If you don’t do this, your stickers may be slightly smaller than I’ve sized them to be.
